Training Colorado’s Mandated Reporters (FREE)
One of the most valuable resources for preventing and responding to child abuse and neglect are Mandated Reporters. The State of Colorado offers comprehensive training and guidance for Mandated Reporters on topics including:
- Recognizing child abuse and/or neglect
- Understanding the legal responsibility to report
- Making a report
- Overcoming concerns about reporting
- Understanding the Child Protective Services process
The training takes about two hours to complete and can be done at your own pace. The program is tailored to 5 different audiences to provide specific information for healthcare providers, mental health professionals, educators, first responders and other professional groups.
