National Sex Offender Registry – The National Sex Offender Public Registry, coordinated by the Department of Justice, is a cooperative effort between the state agencies hosting public sexual offender registries and the federal government. The National Public Registry allows you to search by a number of different criteria, including city, zip code, and county.

Childhelp USA – National Child Abuse Hotline: 1.800.4.A.CHILD – The 24/7 Hotline offers crisis intervention, information, literature, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources.  Professionals counselors can help through interpreters in 170 languages. All calls are anonymous and confidential.

Stop it Now! – A national, confidential Helpline for anyone seeking advice and support around a child sexual abuse concern.   The helpline is available Monday 12 – 3 pm, Thursday 1 – 4 pm, and Fridays 12 – 3 pm Eastern time and is closed for standard business holidays. Helpline: 1- 888-PREVENT

Darkness to Light1-866-FOR-LIGHT – Referral hotline to connect with local resources around a child sexual abuse concern. Darkness to Light is a national organization dedicated to prevention of child sexual assault.

Child Welfare Information Gateway – U.S. Department of Health & Humans Services website that provides information and resources on protecting children and strengthening families.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children – Work with law enforcement, human services and families on the issue of missing and sexually exploited children.

Child Molestation Research and Prevention Institute – online directory of sex-specific therapists for evaluation and treatment. Also has extensive reading lists for parents of sexually reactive children, parents of victims and others.

National Center on Sexual Behavior in Youth – Information on sexual development and youth with sexual behavior problems.
